PA (Personal Assistant) to CIO - 12 Month FTC Full Time

Camelot (Home of The National Lottery) are looking for PA (Personal Assistant) for our CIO on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). We're looking for a highly experienced PA with the ability to work in a close knit Technology Department whilst managing, mentoring and coaching two team coordinators. How you'll make a difference:

By taking ownership and responsibility for the full secretarial and administrative support to the Director, by supporting the Director, knowing what is important in their world and being proactive whilst managing, mentoring and coaching two team coordinators within the Technology department.

What you'll bring to the table

  • Filtering all incoming internal and external business communications through to the CIO

  • Make judgements on what action is appropriate without reference to others, organise meetings and proactively manage diary to maximise the Directors time and make effective use of travel/transport arrangements

  • Maintain an awareness of the key issues and activities taking place within both the Company and Department, to enable an understanding to be had of key interfaces which impact Technology

  • Control, assess, respond to and manage direct incoming mail

  • Organise papers and reports to ensure the Director is in possession of all relevant information when attending company and business meetings and events

  • Stakeholder engagement, working with external bodies

  • Prepare letters, reports, presentations and other documentation and manage sensitive information and highly confidential documents with discretion

  • Devise reports for the function to be utilised both internally and externally

  • Develop super-user skill level for Google Suite

  • Undertake basic analysis and draft reports for management
