Lead software Developer Full Time

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen with a growing Utilities company. Since their launch they have grown substantially and now have three sites across the UK. With exciting plans for continued growth into 2019, this innovative company are now looking to appoint an experienced, lead soft wear developer to help support their growth plans across all sites.

The Lead Developer will live and breathe our products, support technologies and continually look for ways to promote, enhance and deliver them. Your enthusiasm will be obvious to all those around you as you help to grow our internal CRM platforms and API integrations, you will be a thoughtful member with the ability to take part in growing agile environment where everyone is heard.

You will be a multi-skilled individual who will:

  • Have behaviour and alignment to our company values whilst:
  • Building positive relationships across the business
  • Work with team leaders and management to review business requirements and turn them into functional specifications c. Accelerating the delivery of critical CRM platforms
  • Helping drive greater revenues by being creative with technical solutions
  • Being able to interface with all levels of the business to promote the benefits of IT
  • Work with existing developers, to determine when to work independently and when to pair-up for code development and reviews
  • Have a solid technical IT background including:
  • Delivering scalable technical platforms
  • Cloud and on-premise solutions ? particularly Microsoft Azure c. Agile / Scrum experience and implementation
  • Have soft skills that enable:
  • The ability to communicate effectively between people across the business

  • Being able to challenge and persuade
  • Creating a bond between tech, sales and operations

  • Introduce and follow test-driven development, refactoring and continuous integration Technical Skills

The following is a minimum required technical skill set:

  • C#, MVC
  • Angular
  • SQL
  • .Net, .Net Core
  • Entity Framework
  • Entity Framework Core
  • JavaScript, jQuery, HTML
  • Bootstrap
  • Management of Contact Centres and telephony services
  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure IAAS and PAAS ? you will have created and delivered solutions on this platform
  • .NET and C# development knowledge
  • Micro services architecture


You will be rewarded with a package that includes:

  • Basic salary of circa £35,000 to £40,000
  • 25 days holiday

Salary: £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 /year
