We are looking for Associate Consultants and Consultants with experience working with healthcare and life science clients to join our growing healthcare team in London. The successful candidates for this role will work on a variety of corporate communications, public affairs and B2B accounts in the healthcare space.

is based in Covent Garden with a team of over 50 communications consultants working on a range of diverse clients across many sectors including healthcare, food and drink, technology, energy and Global Solutions. London is a hub for international business as well as UK focussed communications, and the team uses its public affairs heritage to deliver effective platform-neutral campaigns for its clients in multinational markets.


As a Healthcare Consultant / Associate Consultant you will:

  • Manage and implement a wide range of corporate communications, public affairs and B2B campaigns for our high profile, globally-recognized healthcare clients;

  • Provide the highest level of client service on a daily basis through proactive account management, serving as the key client contact while also managing staff to successfully maintain and grow client relationships;

  • Support to design and implement multi-faceted, integrated campaigns to position client issues and priorities with key audiences that may include elected officials, media, key opinion leaders, consumers and industry stakeholders;

  • Create effective messages and produce and edit high-quality written deliverables, such as bespoke messaging, issue backgrounders, briefings, press materials, and social media content often under tight deadlines;

  • Develop compelling communications and content to convey complex policy and/or social issues;

  • Own stakeholders/media relations and profile building efforts including cultivating relationships with media, drafting op-eds and talking points, organizing events and press conferences and 1to1 meetings, and build thought leadership;

  • Monitor external developments in key client issue areas and flag opportunities for further client engagement

  • Manage client budgets, ensuring that projects and corresponding staffing are within allotted budgets

  • Actively participate in business development activities including writing proposals and developing pitch decks

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • At least 3 - 6 years’ experience in public affairs and strategic communications, preferably in an agency

  • A good understanding of the UK healthcare policy and media landscape, as well as a strong working knowledge of public affairs and communications best practice, including compliance with the ABPI code of conduct

  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills, and the ability to write both strategically and creatively under tight deadlines;

  • Outstanding presentation skills including the ability to engage an executive leadership and experience briefing senior-level clients;

  • Solid project management experience, including overseeing a team and multiple deliverables;

  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem-solving skills.
