Marketing Assistant Full Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Marketing Assistant to support our clients Marketing Coordinator and wider Marketing team.


Applicants need to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, be able to work to deadline, thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess an excellent grasp of the English language.


Working on a broad range of projects, we are looking for an individual who has previous marketing experience of 1 years. You should be well-organised, proactive and efficient, with good common sense and initiative, with an analytical and structured strategic approach to work.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities


  • Monitor Marketing team inbox and direct communications to relevant team members

  • Provide front-line assistance for the Marketing team, responding to internal, showroom and PR enquiries

  • Log competitor email activity against our own email strategy to analyse frequency, structure, tone of voice and marketing campaigns to feed into the compilation of a monthly report and analysis

  • Assist with coordinating calendars, arranging couriers, printing marketing collateral and ordering elements for event or competition roll out in the business

  • Support the Marketing Manager and Content & Editorial Coordinator in ensuring the successful development of our social channels to increase awareness and engagement, as well as contribute to the customer journey and therefore customer acquisition.

  • Daily management of social media channels - responding to every comment and review in the brand’s tone of voice and directing any questions, proposals or complaints onto the relevant department

  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate

  • Schedule the social content created by the Content & Editorial Coordinator on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest

  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

  • Produce monthly social media analytics reports to see how content is performing and track it against competitors

  • Managing internal portals


Qualifications & Experience:


A Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience


The ideal candidate:


  • Offers 1 years proven marketing experience

  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

  • Demonstrates a customer-orientated approach and outstanding Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution

  • Obtains a good understanding of office management and marketing principles

  • Demonstrates an interest in the home furnishing and interior design industry

  • Offers a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, proof reading and collating complex information into reports

  • Is highly-organised and demonstrates the ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines

  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Is a positive team player who demonstrates initiative and personal leadership
