Partner Marketing Advisor - Business Applications Full Time

The Partner Go-To-Market team is within the One Commercial Partner (OCP) organisation and is responsible for accelerating Partner success in market through people, programs, investments, and campaigns across the partner lifecycle.



We are at the heart of the partner ecosystem and support customer digital transformation from the smallest business to the largest global enterprise. We’re embracing and supporting existing partners as they develop new solutions as well as recruiting new partners from SaaS platforms to digital agencies and open source platforms.


Responsibilities


As a Partner Marketing Advisor – Solution, you will be responsible for the end to end view of the partner ecosystem in your Solution Area (Business Applications or Dynamics 365). You’ll create and drive forward the partner strategy for your Solution Area aligned to the Business Group’s overall growth plans. The PMA-Solution is responsible for building, orchestrating, executing and tracking the Area OCP Solutions Plan to achieve the Solution Area Scorecard Metrics, and grow local priority partners business through executing and landing impactful go-to-markets activities through partner to drive new customers, revenue, consumption, IP Co Sell and partner capacity and capability. You will also have responsibility for managing local GTM funding for strategic partners’ activities aligned to quarterly accountability, compliance, and budget.
The role requires strength and passion for leading virtual teams, influencing across boundaries and hierarchies to drive great execution and impact. This role has responsibility for the following:


  • Leading the virtual teams across the subsidiary and within OCP to achieve partner solution area goals
  • Driving actionable insights and decision making

  • Partner with the leadership team and core functions (Build With, GTM and Sell With) to ensure teams are working towards common and aligned goals

  • Develop new strategies to grow market share and grow, transform and create markets in new and existing technology spaces

  • Understand the partner ecosystem for the Solution Area and identify areas where we need to recruit new partners or grow existing partners supported with a comprehensive training plan to increase capability within the partners

  • Create and extend the Partner-to-Partner motion for partner success.

  • Sit on the Business Group (BG) teams as their OCP advisors and provide feedback into OCP to align plans and growth aspirations

  • Be the voice of OCP for the solution area in the Marketing Organisation and provide insights to support the Rhythm of the Business both for the UK and Corp

  • Support the leadership team in creating a positive culture through networking, team collaboration and communications across the subsidiary


Qualifications


  • Demonstratable experience in product or channel marketing, partner channel development, business development, alliance management, through partner marketing in the technology industry
  • Proven ability to run business plans and deliver results aligned to scorecards and prioritise activities

  • Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency

  • Appreciation/experience of channels, sales, marketing and product management critical to understanding the plan and ensuring impact

  • Proven experience of managing virtual teams across functions:
  • Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment
  • Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills
  • Ability to Influence to drive results aligned to the scorecard and report back to LT and Corp

  • Ability to create and deliver Plans to exceed targets or Correction of Error plans as required

  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical approach allowing problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners.
  • Strong Commercial Marketing Background with experience of Cloud business models and technologies

  • Thrive in an environment that is fast paced and highly matrixed across many teams with varied priorities
