Regional Operations Manager Full Time

We now have a vacancy for a Regional Operations Manager to join the Crown Decorating Centre (CDC) Management Team, reporting to the General Manager, CDC Network. You will take full responsibility for trade and retail stores in the South East (West) region and deliver sustainable, profitable sales growth within each store.

This role demands the highest level of leadership and people management skills. You will be required to embed a culture of performance management within your region and will be called upon to develop and enable your team to reach its full potential. You will be highly organised, self-disciplined and self-motivated, setting high standards for yourself and your team. The role requires extensive travel and regular overnight stays – as such a Company car will be provided, and a full valid UK driving licence will be essential.


Location:

Hampshire, Berkshire and West London.


Key responsibilities:

  • Overall management of all CDC sales and operational matters within the region.

  • Developing, communicating and implementing a yearly sales and profit plan for the region.

  • Achieving and exceeding individual store and regional sales targets.

  • Motivational leadership of all team members in the region.

  • Managing the performance and development of the team, ensuring everyone achieves the required standard of performance in all aspects of store activity.

  • Ensuring Company policies, procedures and controls are adhered to within the stores, and CDC Network directives are correctly implemented.

  • Keeping costs within budget.

  • Working closely and effectively alongside the Trade Sales and Specification / Contractor teams to deliver commercial objectives and targets.

  • Developing effective working relationships at all levels, internally and externally.

  • Contributing to and implementing marketing plans, and the strategic direction of the CDC Network as a whole.

  • Communicating clearly and effectively with the team and all other key stakeholders.

Qualifications and skills:

In order to succeed in this role, you must have proven sales management success within a multisite B2B or B2C environment. You will be able to demonstrate that you are financially astute and focused on delivering sustainable profitable sales growth. As part of the interview process, you will be required to present a full business plan for the South East (West) region; you therefore will be expected to think innovatively about how to develop the business, and pioneer new initiatives in your region.
