Quality Manager Full Time

We have just taken on a Quality Manager role with organisation who seek an ambitious quality professional to join their team. A large manufacturer of household products, which they supply to all major retailers, this organisation seeks an enthusiastic and positive team-player to lead their quality function. Quality Manager Reporting to the Technical Manager, and acting as deputy to this role, the principal purpose of this role will be to provide effective leadership and management of the Shift QA Team to achieve site compliance with the Technical policies, procedure standards and specifications. Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the quality team and ensure team work to agreed timescales

  • Maintain and manage the site Quality Management systems

  • Maintain and improve the site HACCP system ensuring food safety is not compromised

  • Responsible for quality data auditing and analysis

  • Ensure the site quality system, records and factory compliance is audit ready 24/7, including produce traceability and mass balance

Key Attributes

  • Experience leading or supervising other quality team members

  • Experiences supplying and having direct working relationships with multiple major retailers

  • Experience of quality system auditing

  • A food science related degree or equivalent

  • PC literate, with auditing, advanced food hygiene, basic health & safety, COSHH, and HACCP knowledge

This role will be ideal for someone who seeks the opportunity to progress in a technical role and within a well-run, people oriented setting. The role will provide time-served experience of the relationships between a busy and successful site and a full range of retailer customers and their COPs.
