Paralegal Full Time

at Manchester City FC in Manchester M11 (Published at 12-10-2017)

City Football Group is recruiting a Paralegal to join its Manchester-based legal team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Legal Director, this role will be responsible for providing legal and administrative support to the team, assisting solicitors on an ad-hoc basis with legal research, drafting and day-to-day transaction and case management tasks.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the preparation, negotiation and signature of high-volume standard form agreements

Reviewing agreements and preparing contract summaries to be used in the contract sign-off process

Co-ordinating day to day brand protection and enforcement activities pursuant to the MCFC brand protection strategy

Carrying out the administration work required by the legal team (excluding company secretarial work) such as managing contract approval and signature processes, organising team know-how development and document management procedures.

Applications are welcome from qualified or part-qualified Legal Executives (ideally from an administrative background) and LPC graduates who have experience of supporting transactional legal work in a law firm or in-house. We will also consider applications from outstanding paralegals who are awaiting the commencement of a training contract and are keen to gain valuable experience in the professional sports industry.
